QID:NA61 - pistehead - 02-22-2008 Someone please explain this one to me We're talking Arp, layer 2 here so surely we'd get a layer 2 broadcast storm whether PC2 was there or not. Why does the explanation detail Unknown MAC unicast floods, PC1 is doing an arp, how's that unicast ? Help... ??? Cheers, Rich Re: QID:NA61 - kon310 - 02-08-2009 i'd like to bump this..I also came across this question earlier and was confused. I chose the answer "Spanning Tree Protocol is not running on switches" because yes STP does stop switching loops which prevents broadcast storms..or at least that was what my train of thought was on this one. Re: QID:NA61 - myzx13 - 02-11-2009 yeah STP should be the answer.. at my other reading material its almost has d same question, but its answer was the stp is not running on the switches.. :o :o :o :o Re: QID:NA61 - forumsupport - 02-12-2009 Yes, fixed. |
