Network newbie here. I'm building a simple network in Packet Tracer with an 1841 router and 2 PCs. I can configure the interfaces on the router and power it on. How do the PCs get ip addresses? I've tried giving them static addresses but the ping from one to another is not successful and times out. I've also tried setting dhcp addressing in the PCs but when I power on the router they still don't have ip addresss. Any suggestions?
