I believe that the answer to this question is wrong.  The question asks for the status of the two interfaces and displays the show ip int bri command indicating that both ints are UP/UP, however, there is a problem with the IP addresses of 172.16.109.62/26 and 172.16.109.5/30.  These IP addresses overlap and will prevent both ints from being in an UP/UP state.  If I'm missing something here please point it out too me Smile

Thanks

Btw, the answer listed to the question is that the interfaces are functioning correctly.

I think this is just a matter of technicality. You are correct but I think the point of the question was just specifically what does the command output show, which is supposedly that both interfaces are UP/UP, which usually means that they are functioning correctly.

As far as the IP addresses overlapping, they do and if you actually tried to configure these addresses then the router would reject one of the inputs. You would not be able to configure this on a router  :-\.
