Study Group and I passed CCENT |

My study group and I passed.
For those trying to memorize the questions on the practice exam, don't. Use it as a reference. Its not about memorizing, you have to actually understand what is going on in the different layers, what configurations do what, and how to troubleshoot.
You can also use it what is offered by this site as a reference to find out exactly at what area's you are struggling with. I found out which areas I had trouble with and what exactly I was getting mixed up on. Studied those specific areas and it helped a lot.
But yeah my group and I passed. Not going to lie, I thought I failed by like 10 questions in. My confidence was completely shot, and I was prepared to just walk out. I stuck with it though and kept trying. When I got my score I passed by a significant higher margin than I thought I did. So I didn't barely pass, I passed and it felt good.
Couldn't have done it without this website. Thanks guys.

On question #3, the Simlet asks you, "Which statement about the router configurations is correct?" I believe that there are two correct statements. From what I can see, these two statements are both accurate:
1.) "The BrAnch 2 LAN Network 192.168.11.0/24 is not adverti$ed into the EIGRP network." (EIGRP is not configured at all)
2.) "The Branch 3 LAN Network 192.168.10.0/24 is not advertised into the EIGRP network." (The network statement is not present in the EIGRP config)
How2Pass says that #2 is the correct statement, but isn't #1 technically a "correct statement" ?
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Is this a word-trick because EIGRP is not enabled on router Br-2 at all? That's the only thing I can possibly figure.
Thanks,
Amanda

Possible fix?? Question QID:A1175 |

I'm wondering if someone can explain how I got this wrong or how the answer is VLAN ID 1.
QID:A1175 - Refer to the Exhibit. Which VLAN ID is associated with the native VLAN?
In the exhibit it shows that both interfaces used for trunking were also set to use VLAN 10 as the native vlan shown by the "Switchport Trunk Native VLAN 10" command issued on both switches.
Can anyone explain how I am not getting this or what I am missing? To me the answer would be VLAN 10. How is the answer VLAN 1??

There is a test question that is set up incorrectly.
The answer can not be determined due to missing information in the routing table. I have checked online and it is clear that the question is set up incorrectly.
QID-S35 - RIPv2, Stating Routing, Router-on-a-stick
Question 4 - What is the correct statement below after examining the R1 routing table.
Answer - Traffic that is destined to 10.10.10.0/24 from R1 Lan network uses RIPv2 because the static route AD that is configured is higher than the AD of RIPv2
The problem is that there is no RIP pathway to network 10.10.10.0/24 in the routing table. The only route present that would go to that network is the static route.
Please fix this and thank you
