Answers keep changing on certain questions
Posted by: contiva - 10-05-2009, 07:15 PM - Forum: General - No Replies

I have noticed some answers keep changing - especially QID:NA132 - each time you select the correct answer the exam engine marks it wrong. anyone else notice this???

  Question NA343
Posted by: glhart - 09-15-2009, 09:10 PM - Forum: Answer this question - Replies (1)

On Question NA343, why is there both a "CSU/DSU" box AND an "Analog Modem"?  It seems like the green box would be the CSU/DSU and the line going from the green box to the WAN would be a Digital Line (aka Serial link).  There is no explanation for this question.  Adding an explanation as to why this is the way it is would be really helpful.  If this is a real question on the test, I would not know why I am putting this as the answer.

Thank you,
Geoff

  EIGRP Query Storm
Posted by: viets - 09-10-2009, 08:51 AM - Forum: CCNP ENARSI 300-410 Forum - Replies (1)

Hello,

I have the following Problem with the topology below. If the connection between as1_r1 and as1_r6 or as1_r3 and as1_r7 flaps one time, all routers gets a high CPU load and the route 10.1.16.0/21 (the summary is configured on as1_r6 and as1_r7 on the serials) is in eigrp active state all time, because every router queries for this route....

One solution is to shut down one serial on as1_r{1,2,3} or to configure as1_r6 or as1_r7 as a stub router, but I think there should be another solution.

If needed, I could post the configurations...

Thanks in Advance
Viets

  Help preparing for Boot Camp
Posted by: sneak001 - 09-03-2009, 04:45 AM - Forum: General - Replies (1)

Hi All,

My employer in his infinite wisdom has decided that he is going to sell Cisco equipment and has a requirement for 2 staff to become CCNA certified.
He has booked 2 of us on the CCNA boot camp which is spread over 2 weeks INCD1 and ICND2.

I have approx 5 weeks before the ICND 1 course.

My question to you guys is how can i best prepare myself for these 2 courses??( I have very basic networking skills - i come form an IP telephony background)

Thanks in advance for you help

Jas

Passed BSCI with 911 Sept 2

Hi,

Finished the exam today with 7 mins to spare. Time is fairly tight in this exam though I think.

Had the following sims:

Redistribution of ISIS into EIGRP and vice versa (Lab #4)
OSPF summarisation (Lab #3)
EIGRP summarisation (Lab #6)

Had both simlets QID:T1 & QID:T3. Got quite a lot on IPv6 and Multicast.

Also had one question about NAT-PT that I didn't see on How2Pass. There's an exhibit showing an IPv6 host sending traffic using an IPv6 destination address to an IPv4 host behind a NAT-PT router. It asks you to choose from 4 options how the traffic gets to the host. I think I answered that the router selects where to send the traffic. I can't remember the other options unfortunately.

The answer states:

"A rendezvous point must be configured in order for the interface to operate in sparse mode."

Surely though if this is the case, the following answer is also valid and there are 2 potential answers for this question?

"If a rendezvous point is configured, the interface cannot operate in dense mode."

I passed my CCNA today and I could NOT have done it without the help of How2pass!  Best $40 I ever spent!

Good Luck to everyone on their certification journey!
