Hi,
Looks like you got a typeO on the correct answer. In the subnet mask you have 256 in the first octet.

You guys are always doing good work.

I'll be taking my test soon.  Smile

Darren

Can someone please help understand the answers to this question?

172.16.2.128=>255.255.255.128
172.16.3.64  =>255.255.255.224
172.16.3.128=>255.255.255.240
172.16.3.192=>255.255.255.248
172.16.4.0   =>255.255.254.0

Am I making this too hard for myself?  I just don't get it.

Please advise

Thanks
dglorioso

  SIM#2 TASK#3 , incorrect subnet mask
Posted by: slawekstec - 10-04-2022, 11:13 PM - Forum: Answer this question - No Replies

LAB SIM#2  TASK #3

Task #3

Configure a single static route in router R2 to reach to the Internet subnet considering both redundant links between routers R1 and R2. A default route is NOT allowed in router R2.
INTERNET SUBNET  172.20.20.128/25
R2(config)#ip route 172.20.20.128 255.255.128.0 10.10.12.129    <== incorrect subnet mask for /25   should be 255.255.255.128
R2(config)#ip route 172.20.20.128 255.255.128.0 10.10.12.1 2     <== incorrect subnet mask for /25   Should be 255.255.255.128

  Passed ENCOR 350-401 Exam
Posted by: mrderekb - 10-04-2022, 12:15 PM - Forum: CCNP ENCOR 350-401 Forum - Replies (9)

I passed the ENCOR 350-401 exam yesterday.  There were definitely some questions on the exam that I did not recognize from H2P.  However, if you can consistently pass the H2P practice test you should be able to pass the actual exam.  Try not panic when you encounter questions or network topology diagrams that you haven't seen before.  I believe Cisco likes to surprise exam takers with the unexpected to rattle you during the test.  Just stay focused on the fundamental concept behind the question.  Also, keep a watchful eye on the clock.  My exam had 102 questions.  If you spend too much time on one question, you will have to make it up on future questions that you can answer quickly.  Good luck!

QID AN437

posted answer : ipv6 address fc00:0000:aaaa:a15d:1234:2343:8aca/64
Why correct answer has only 28 hex-digits, not 32 hex-digits  ?  I do not see :: in this answer

QID AN491

IMO correct answer should be : ip domain-name domain ...since the question asks for command BEFORE entering the command to generate RSA key

This test was rough. Don’t just memorize questions. The diagrams may look similar, but they will adjust which routes to use or change the answers to test another issue.

Best of luck, my dudes.

No sim for me. Also don’t chug a quart of water before the test.

This answer seems wrong.

Question requests "which configuration on the branch router makes the intranet website available to the branch office users." The answer does this, but it takes all port 80 traffic to the next hop of 192.168.2.2. This will include all the internet traffic.

I think the answer should be the single ACL answer on G1/0.

only 3 denies in this ACL

R3 -> R2 = 2002:ABC:2000:2:2::2 -> 2001:ABC:20:2:2::2

10 deny 2001:ABC:200::/36 host 2000:ABC:20:2:2::2 eq 23 (SSH = 22 wrong)
30 deny 2002:ABC:2000::/36 host 2000:ABC:20:2:2::2 eq 22 (Correct, but host IP is wrong)
70 deny ipv6 any any

Not sure if the ACL or more likely the host is wrong.

Answer is snmp ifindex persist command GLOBALLY.

Isn't snmp-server ifindex persist command used for global and snmp ifindex persist used for phyical interfaces?
